Hundreds of runners have completed the Nottingham 10k race on its new route through the city centre.
The race began in the Old Market Square at 09:00 GMT on Sunday and competitors crossed the finish line at Nottingham Castle.
Roads were closed while the runners were on the course but Nottingham City Transport said tram and bus services had returned to normal by midday.
Organisers said the runners have raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes.
These included the Notts County Foundation, the Trent Bridge Community Trust, Maggie's cancer charity, Mind Nottinghamshire and the Jane Tomlinson Trust.
James Mellor, of Rotherham Harriers, won the race in a time of 34 minutes and 49 seconds.
Sarah Gaunt was the first female runner across the finish line in 42 minutes and 39 seconds.
