Train passengers travelling between Birmingham and Longbridge are being warned of disruption to services, National Rail says.

Overhead electric wires on the line between Birmingham New Street and Longbridge stations were damaged.

The lines were reopened but National Rail said the issue was expected to continue affecting services.

They could be cancelled, severely delayed or revised through the morning, it added.
