A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and dangerous driving.
Cleveland Police said an off-road motorbike was spotted being ridden down Corby Avenue in Middlesbrough on Friday night.
Officers also arrested the teenager on suspicion of driving with no licence and driving with no insurance.
The bike was seized and he was interviewed and bailed while police continue with enquiries.
Neighbourhoods Sergeant Danielle Gibson said: βPolice will continue to react to any information residents give us about bike nuisance in their local area.
βWe welcome information on whoβs using these bikes and where theyβre being stored; the more information we can get, the more we can do to tackle this issue.β
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
