Drivers have been warned of delays on the M5 following two incidents.

Four miles of congestion and hour-long delays were reported northbound at junction one for West Bromwich at about 17:00 BST on Thursday.

This was due to a police-led incident which closed off access to the M6 north and south until about 18:30 BST, National Highways said.

Motorists were also warned of residual 90-minute delays after two lanes were closed on the M5 southbound between junctions seven for Worcester and eight for Strensham.

National Highways said they were closed due to a collision shortly before 16:00 BST but they reopened just after 18:00 BST.
