Police officer charged with coercive control
A serving police officer has been charged with coercive control and theft.
Andrew Bedding, a 28-year-old constable from Ipswich, has been suspended from his duties in the Suffolk force.
He is accused of three counts of coercive control and one of theft in relation to alleged offences in Essex between 2018 and 2022.
Mr Bedding is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
