A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a hit-and-run victim.

Ryan Griffiths, 29, was struck on Burleigh Road, Wolverhampton at about 21:00 BST on 21 August. He died two days later in hospital.

Aden Wright appeared at the city's crown court on Thursday, also facing a charge of driving without insurance.

The 26-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on 22 October.
