A man is due in court after cocaine was seized outside Notts County’s football stadium.

The drugs were detected by a sniffer dog as a supporter approached the turnstiles at Meadow Lane on 18 November.

Four bags of white powder were discovered during a search and sent off for forensic testing.

The tests have since confirmed the substance was cocaine.

A 24-year-old from Bradford has been charged with possession of a Class A drug and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 15 March.
