A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a taxi driver was killed in a crash.
Christopher Boyle, 57, died at the scene of the crash between a silver Volkswagen and a brown BMW on the A4139 between Tenby and Penally in Pembrokeshire on Monday.
Mateusz Sikorski, 30, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Swansea Crown Court on 7 October.
Tim Lemon of Tenby Taxis described Mr Boyle as "irreplaceable" in a post on .
He said the taxi community had lost "one of the best", and called him the "kindest, funniest, most genuine, helpful taxi driver ever".
"We are all heartbroken, saddened and in total disbelief at the loss of our colleague and dear friend," he added.
In a statement on Wednesday, his family said: "Chris was a much-loved son, dad, brother, uncle and friend.
"Known as Mucker to his friends, he was very involved in the community and would do anything to help anyone."
