Man hit by car while crossing road
A man in his 70s has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Surrey.
The pedestrian was crossing Kingston Road in Staines-upon-Thames, at its junction with Petersfield Avenue on Friday evening.
He was struck by a Volkswagen Polo.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
