Man dies after being hit by bus on guided busway
A man has died after being hit by a bus, police have said.
Bedfordshire Police said the collision happened on the guided busway which runs between Luton and Dunstable adjacent to Hatters Way.
That road was closed between Chaul End Lane and Telford Way roundabouts in Luton at about 01:00 GMT and reopened at about 07:30.
Emergency services attended however the man, in his 40s, died shortly after.
Police have asked for witnesses of the incident, which took place at about 00:30 to contact them.
