Attempted murder arrest after man pushed down stairs
The victim was attacked at a property on the Causeway in Altrincham

A man has been arrested on suspicion of trying to kill a man who was pushed down a flight of stairs and left with severe injuries.
The 52-year-old victim suffered life-changing injuries in the assault at a property on the Causeway, Altrincham at about 02:10 BST on Saturday, Greater Manchester Police said.
He remained in hospital for treatment.
A 32-year-old man has been held on suspicion of attempted murder and officers were continuing to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
