Several cars have been vandalised along a street in Exeter during an overnight incident, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said about 12 vehicles were scratched by what was believed to be a key in Sweetbrier Lane overnight on 14 and 15 October.

Officers believed more vehicles might have been targeted and they wanted to hear from anyone who witnessed the vandalism or has video footage of it.

Anyone with information about the incident or who thinks they saw suspicious behaviour in the area has been asked to contact police.
