Girl, 10, injured after being hit by car
A 10-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Leicester.
Emergency services were called to Marwood Road at about 15:25 GMT on Monday.
Leicestershire Police said the pedestrian was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, adding her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The force said no arrests had been made.
The crash led to the road being closed but it reopened later.
