Elderly man dies after car crashes into wall

A man in his 90s has died in hospital two days after the car he was in hit a wall.

The white Ford Fiesta Zetec crashed on Steartfield Road in Paignton at about 11:50 BST on 15 June, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The female driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Her elderly passenger, from Torquay, was taken to Derriford Hospital where he died on Wednesday, the force confirmed.

Witnesses are urged to contact police.
