A man has been jailed after admitting possession of a loaded gun and ammunition.
A revolver was seized from a property in Oxford Street, Wolverhampton, by officers during a raid on 15 November last year.
Kwame Dalia, 27, of The Briars in Aldridge, was arrested and later charged in connection with the discovery.
He pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition and was sentenced to five years in prison after appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 31 May.
Mr Dalia was also given a further 18 months for a separate violent disorder offence.
Det Con Amy Whitehouse of West Midlands Police said: βWe do not underestimate the harm and danger that firearms can cause to communities."
