Murder probe after man, 27, dies following assault

An murder investigation has been launched after a man died from "serious injuries" in Swansea.

Officers attended an incident in Cwm Road, Hafod, Swansea, shortly after noon on 11 September.

The victim, a 27-year-old man from Waun Wen, Swansea, died from his injuries and his next of kin have been informed.

Four men from Swansea have been arrested.

A 31-year-old man from Waun Wen, a 49-year-old man from Gendros, a 37-year-old man from Strand, and a 39-year-old man from Morriston all remain in police custody.

Police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and Cwm Road remains closed while inquiries are carried out.
