A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault, following a short police chase.
Gloucestershire Police said they arrested the 22-year-old in St George's Street, Cheltenham, at about 08:00 BST.
The force said the arrest related "to an incident on a previous date".
The arrested man remains in police custody.
