Wildcat group appeals against wind farm ruling
Wildcat Haven claims plans for more turbines would harm wildlife

A conservation group has announced it is appealing against a court ruling that failed to halt plans for a new wind farm in Aberdeenshire.
Wildcat Haven challenged the Scottish government's decision to approve Vattenfall's Clashindarroch II project at a judicial review in January.
The group argued that Scottish ministers failed to follow correct legal tests.
Judge Lord Sandison dismissed the legal petition last month.

Wildcat Haven has claimed that the new 14-turbine development would be "potentially catastrophic" for local wildcats.
Director Dr Paul O'Donoghue said the group believed it could overcome the reasons for refusal.
Vattenfall said that the appeal was "expected" and it still believed it had a "very robust case".
Senior project manager Daniel Wills said: "We're still very confident of being successful in the appeal process."
The Scottish government said it could not comment on live proceedings.
