Teenager charged over Tesco machete threat
A teenager has been charged after a man was reportedly threatened with a machete in a supermarket.
South Wales Police were called to Tesco in St Mellons, Cardiff, at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday.
A 17-year-old boy from the Trowbridge area of the city, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted wounding, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in public.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Cardiff Magistrates' Court later.
