A biker has died after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car.

It happened on Chester Road, in Delamere, Cheshire, at about 09:15 BST on Sunday.

Police said the crash, which happened between Stoney Lane and the junction of the A54 Middlewich Road, close to Delamere Primary School, involved a white Audi A5 and an orange Kawasaki ZX.

The 24-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene and police said his family had been informed.

Cheshire Police said inquiries were continuing and urged witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
