Man in court after cannabis 'worth £1.1m' seized
A man has appeared in court after drugs said by police to be worth about £1.1m were discovered in Aberdeenshire.
Police Scotland said the cannabis cultivation was found at a property in the Auchterless area near Turriff.
The discovery - made on Tuesday 30 January - was announced on Monday.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) said Nerijus Jurgaitis, 38, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on 31 January. He made no plea and was released on bail.
