Tributes have been paid to a teenager who has died following a crash in Kesh in County Fermanagh.

Oisin Gregg, who was 18, was involved in a two-vehicle crash on the Letterboy Road on Friday evening.

He was taken to hospital following the crash but has since died.

A woman has also died following a crash in Castlederg in County Tyrone.

Patricia McGarvey, who was 75, was involved in a three-vehicle crash on the Strabone Road on Wednesday afternoon.

She was taken to hospital by air ambulance but later died.

People in the two other cars involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Oisin was a member of the North Fermanagh Young Defenders flute band who said he would be "sadly missed and always remembered".

In a post on Facebook, the group said it was "with deep sadness and regret that we have lost not only a member of our band, but someone we have been lucky enough to call our friend".

The post said that he had been a member since the age of 12.

"We send our sincere condolences to Oisin’s family and entire family circle at this tough time and they will remain in our thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult time."

The GAA club Devenish St Mary's also posted on Facebook to "extend our sympathies to the Gregg family following the tragic and untimely death of Oisin".

"We extend our sympathies to the wider family circle and our thoughts and prayers are with them now and in the time ahead," the post said.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Ulster Unionist councillor Mark Ovens, who knows the Gregg family, said his death has devastated the community.

"Oisin was a very popular young man. He should have had his whole life ahead of him and yet tragically it has been cut short in the most devastating circumstances," Mr Ovens said.

"There has been a dark cloud hanging over the entire area in recent days and I know in the time ahead the community will rally round all the families impacted by this tragedy," he said.

A 44-year-old man was also taken to hospital following the crash on Friday evening.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
