Man dies after fire breaks out in flat
The first crew requested back up due to the severity of the fire

A man died after a fire broke out in a first floor flat.
Essex Fire and Rescue said crews were called at 00:24BST on Monday to reports of a blaze at a property in Link Road, Canvey Island.
The first crew arrived in four-and-a-half minutes but called for back up due to the severity of the fire, the service said.
Crews extinguished the blaze by 01:12 and an investigation into the cause of the fire will take place.
The man died at the scene, the fire service said.
