Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in crash
A cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after reportedly hitting a parked car in Barnsley.
Emergency services were called to Oakdale, Worsbrough Bridge, at about 21:10 GMT on Saturday.
The bicycle rider, a 52-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains, South Yorkshire Police said.
He is thought to have collided with a stationary red Peugeot.
Officers appealed for those with information to come forward and thanked members of the public who helped at the scene.
