Dartmoor tent killer admits manslaughter
Perrin denied murdering Mr Armstrong but admitted manslaughter at Exeter Crown Court

A man who killed a tourist in a tent in a Dartmoor town has admitted manslaughter.
Alan Perrin, 56, attacked 42-year-old David Armstrong in a tent in Queens Road, Moretonhampstead, Devon, in August 2023.
Perrin, of no fixed abode, denied murdering Mr Armstrong but pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Exeter Crown Court.
Mr Armstrong, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, died in a Plymouth hospital eight days after the assault.
Perrin was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.
