Arrest after boys attacked with 'bladed weapon'

A man has been arrested after two boys were attacked and injured with a "bladed weapon" in Warwickshire.

Police said they were called to reports of a serious assault in Rowland Avenue, Studley, just before midnight on Saturday.

The two boys reportedly had wounds which required hospital treatment, said Warwickshire Police.

A 40-year-old man from Studley has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

Det Insp Buckley, from the force, added: “First aid was reportedly provided to the boys who had received injuries by members of the public in advance of the ambulance’s arrival, for which we give our sincere thanks.”

Anyone with information or with CCTV and dashcam footage has been asked to contact police.
