Five people were taken to hospital after a crash in a Norfolk village.

Two cars collided on the A47 Yarmouth Road in Hopton, near Great Yarmouth, at 11:30 BST on Saturday.

Police said the driver of a Seat Ibiza and three passengers were taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with serious injuries.

The driver of a Maserati Quattroporte was also taken to the hospital.

One of the passengers travelling in the back of the Seat has since been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

The road reopened at about 17:00 on Saturday.
