Bob Dylan-linked pub to be converted into homes

Plans have been approved to convert a pub site in Gloucestershire which has connections to Bob Dylan.
The folk singer was rumoured to have stayed at The Old Ferry Inn, in Beachley, Gloucestershire during his so-called "Judas Tour" in 1966.
The then 25-year-old singer was believed to have stayed there after a gig in Bristol not long after ditching his acoustic guitar for a more electric sound.
Forest of Dean District Council has granted permissions to convert the Old Ferry Inn into homes.
The Old Ferry Inn will be converted into five new apartments
The site of the pub which was formerly converted into offices will now be made into five new apartments.
The project also includes the building of two townhouses and a lifeboat store for the use of the Severn Area Rescue Association.
As reported by the council officers believed that the positives outweighed the negatives.
Developer Rob Wilson said: "It will provide a vibrant and balanced mix of employment space and homes on the site."
