A large wildfire was probably caused by an unattended campfire, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) has said.

Three crews and two wildfire units tackled the blaze on a mountainside above Dwygyfylchi, Conwy county, on Wednesday after receiving reports at 21:27 BST the night before.

About 10,764 sq ft (1,000 sq m) of land has been affected.

Tim Owen from the fire service said people should take precautions to prevent "the devastating effects of wildfire".
