Summary

Our long-running social cohesion radio project, The Tea Cup Diaries, in Myanmar is increasing its online presence and content to address issues related to fake news and digital literacy among young people, who are increasingly turning to social media for their news and information. We conducted formative research with young active Facebook users to inform future project strategies on tackling fake news - including about COVID-19 - online.
