The band, who celebrate 30 years in music this year, are looking for one local band to play a 30 minute opening set for them on Thursday 14 June.

To enter, all that bands need to do is visit the INXS website, enter their details and provide links to some online content, such as videos on YouTube or audio on MySpace.

All the submissions will be watched or listened to and INXS themselves will choose the winners, who’ll be given the place in front of the fans at the Apollo.

The winners will be expected to get to the venue themselves and provide their own backline, but when you’re given the chance to play alongside one of the world’s biggest bands, you don’t mind making a bit of effort, do you?
