On Friday 18 May, two of the hottest bands on the planet at the moment, The Gossip and CSS, will be sharing headline billing at the regular electronica fest that is Contort Yourself. Best of all, it’s free to get in. However, it does come with some conditions. You see, the whole thing is organised by MySpace’s Secret Shows, a series of shows that takes massive names and sticks them on intimate surrounds. Primal Scream played the 100 Club in London, The Magic Numbers rocked Birmingham’s Custard Factory… you get the idea.

So in order to get in, you need to add Secret Shows and both CSS and The Gossip as friends on the site and then stick all three in your top eight friends on your own profile. Once you’ve done that, print off your own page and get down to Fopp on Brown St at 6pm on Thursday evening to swap it for a wristband that will get you entry. You can see why you need to keep quiet now, don’t you? All we can do is wish you good luck and say that it might be a bit stressful securing that all important wristband, but it’s going to be worth it, isn’t it? Come on, think about it.
