The Whip are Trash

The dynamic electronica duo that is The Whip continue their rise to the big time with the release of the unstoppably funkyand utterly insistent dancefloor-filler Trash.

Bruce Carter and Danny Saville have put out the follow-up to their excellent debut, the bass-heavy twitcher Frustration, as a 500 copy limited edition 7", and if the buzz around the pair is anything to go by, it’ll be a record worth owning.

Frustration took Steve Lamacq’s fancy and the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 6 Music DJ made it his single of the week back in February. Elsewhere, people were similarly impressed, with Mixmag calling it a "promising nugget" and iDJ saying it was a "good catchy tune".

Trash is out now and available, while there’s copies left, on Lavolta Records.
