By Steve Coleman Young people across Merseyside improved their writing skills with a novel poetry project, as part of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ RaW.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ RaW aims to increase people’s reading and writing skills in engaging ways. We took the simple idea of the fridge magnet word games and turned them into a computer generated kitchen canvas.
OurΜύ virtual fridge and a few dozen cyber magnets wentΜύout on the road on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Bus to see what creativity bytes when you mess about with aΜύwhite domestic applianceΜύ (only ours in blue!)
Young people from Liverpool, Knowsley, Wirral and St Helens wrote a range of poems from limericks to lullabies.

RaW is the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s biggest ever campaign that aims to help adults across the UK read and write better.
