How can I watch programmes when I'm offline?

Download programmes from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer to watch anywhere, whether you're at home or on the go. So even if you're miles from WiFi, or your broadband's buffering, you can still enjoy your favourite shows.

On a computer or laptop

All of our live and on-demand programmes can be streamed on your computer by heading to the website: bbc.co.uk/iplayer. Once you've found the programme you want to watch, just press the play button. This does require you to be connected to the internet.

You can also still download your favourite programmes on your mobile device, and add programmes to your Watchlist to return later.

On a mobile or tablet

OnΜύcompatible mobiles and tablets, you can download programmes using the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer app. Just tap Download underneath the episode you want to download. How long can I keep programmes I've downloaded?Μύ

Downloaded programmes are available for the same amount of time as they are on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer website or app. If a programme is available for 30 days, you'll have until the end of that same 30-day period to watch the download.Μύ

At the end of that availability period, downloaded programmes will be deleted,Μύso keep an eye on the expiry date of each programme you download to make sure you don't miss out!
