Coping with stillbirth

A charity for people whose babies are stillborn, or die shortly after birth, is calling for more to be done to prevent such deaths.

SANDS says nearly six and a half thousand babies die at this early stage in the UK each year, which amounts to about 17 every day.

Cheryl Kilby from Ellerton in East Yorkshire has two daughters, but she went on to have six miscarriages, and two years ago she had a stillbirth.

When I spoke to Cheryl she told me how she tried to cope.
