In between her radio broadcasts, Sarah also just about finds time to appear on the morning edition of Look North.

Growing up in East Yorkshire Sarah's always had a keen interest in science and the weather. She has a degree in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leicester and is Met Office trained.

Sarah said: "My career is the ideal way to combine my love for science, with broadcasting and I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to do my dream job for people in the place I have such fond memories of."
