The Early Show with David Reeves

Wakey, wakey! Need to be up at 5am? Then David's your man.

It all kicks off at 5am.Μύ After dragging himself out of bed at a ridiculous hour (he tries not to think about it too much) David is your early morning host to beat off your bed magnet blues.

Each morning David brings you the first local news of the day at 5am as well as the latest weather sport and news from around the world... all before the breakfast show kicks in at 6.30am.. plus some top music to ease you into a new day.

David started presenting on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Humberside back in May 2006 with the Late Licence. Since then he's teamed up with Gloria Johnson on the Mid-morning show and hosted the late night Sunday Session on er, Sunday's before landing the early gig on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Humberside. Just don't mention Alan Partridge. David is also the technical whiz-kid behind most of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Humberside on-air promotions.ΜύΜύΜύ

Movie Lounge

Every Friday morning after 6am you can hear the latest edition of the Movie Lounge with film guru Jamie Kelwick. The 'Movie Lounge' brings you the latest film news, reviews and Jamie's one to watch on TV.

Jamie Kelwick.

Jamie Kelwick: Mr Movies

Jamie Kelwick has been dipping into programmes with David for the past 5 years reviewing new films and bringing the latest in movie gossip from across the globe. Having to watch everything, so you don't have to, Jamie doesn't really have a favourite all time movie but he has to watch the 'Original Star Wars Trilogy', 'The Big Lebowski' and 'Napolean Dynamite' at least once a year. Jamie is also massive Hull City fan, spending just as much time in football stadiums as he does cinemas.
Hear Jamie Kelwick in the 'Movie Lounge' every Friday morning on the Early Show after 6am.

Ever wondered what that strange noise was coming out of your radio first thing in the morning, apart from David that is. Play Joan's Hummer every week day morning just before 6:00am and try to decipher the hidden track beneath the hum.

There's no prizes for guessing but feel free to take part by texting your guess to 07786 200 959.

Joan is the phantom hum behind Joan's Hummer otherwise known as Joan the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ guide from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Open Centre in Hull.
