  ST ANDREWS CATHEDRAL and Visitors centre.

The Cathedral itself dates from around 1160, and was consecrated in the presence of Robert the Bruce in July 1318. Visit the Cathedral's collection of Celtic and medieval carved stones. There is also an excellent display about medieval pilgrimage to the ancient cathedral. It can be found at the St Andrews Museum Kinburn House.
