Neil Gibbons, a graduate from University College in Worcester, certainly believes in getting a sense of movement into his pictures.

The Creative Digital Media graduate took a series of amazing pictures of acrobats jumping and somersaulting across rooftops and walls, as part of his course work.

He also produced an amazing picture of someone running on the UCW's floodlit athletic track.

To truly capture the images the 27-year-old used the latest computer technology in which several single frame images are combined within just one picture.

"It was fantastic to see the professionalism of these sportsmen, they were taking risks but at the same time planed everything so methodically," said Neil.

"The Free Running world is all about uninhibited movement, so hopefully my work has gone some way to capturing its essence."

In addition to his rooftop challenges, shot on locations throughout London, Neil has adapted the same photographic technique to be used as a useful sports aid.

He believes it will help to take training in events like high jump and triple jump, to a whole new level.

"Using TV and video can be costly and time consuming, but in this way coaches can have the picture with them to show the full flow of the whole event in just one image," he said.
