  • The annual Beacon Race along the hills starts at the foot of North Hill.
  • The hills caught fire after beacons were lit to celebrate Queen Victoria's jubilee and burned out of control for a week.
  • North Hill is disfigured by some of the quarries which provided the distinctive Malvern stone which many local buildings are constructed from.
  • North Hill is 397 metres high.
