Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's 100 Lives

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's 100 Lives project followed 100 people across the south, for a year - aiming for a snapshot of life in the 21st Century. As the project ends, some of the people involved '100 Lifers' came to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent studios.

Cutting the cake

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's 100 Lives project gives us a unique snapshot of life in the 21st century by following the lives of 100 people over the year.

A cross-section of people took part, and to mark the end of the year, many came to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent studios for a Christmas party, live on air.

The project leaves a legacy too - a special record will be held at the Wessex Film and Sound Archive.

Julian Clegg and the 100 Lifers

Over the year we've met people fighting illness; leaving to live overseas; starting a new business; undergoing new medical techniques; and a someone on a journey of gender reassignment.

And for some of these people, their journey is still ongoing - and they're going to stay in touch.

They're set to become a 'Julian's person', where they'll feature on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's breakfast programme from time to time as their lives move on.
