joy tewkesbury
i am amaised at the amount of people who are complaining about not having the water to flush or wash up in,we put tubs under our downpipes and and in the time i had got breakfast and washed the two people( 87 year olds)and fed the water buts had filled.in nearly 2 houres i have filled my bath and large waste bins and also lage tubs and bins from moms downpipes for them .so many people have not put out 1 bucket and then start to moan.we have electric which i am most gratfiul for that,so we manage ok.i wash the smalls with the rain water maybe not 100% clean but are fresher( when i can get them dry.)surely with the amount of rain falling people would make use off it.many thanks to everyone who has helped others

Ysterday the water came over the top of my hipwaders and I had arrived at my work completely wet. Do you have flooded your wellies to go at your work ?

Kerry Killingsworth, Tewkesbury
I would just like to say how fantastic the community spirit has been in this difficult time. Everyone is pulling together and morale is high. Makes me proud to be from Tewkesbury!

We were flooded but now it has subsided but we have no water supply and we havent got any bowsers which are near us because we live out in the forest! We also havent had any water bottles delivered anywhere near! But were all coping fine for the moment!

why have we not had any water sent to us, our supply went off sunday evening, and i know of people in surrounding villages that were only cut off this morning and have already had water delivered to their doors?
