Method
To make the jalapeño and cheddar garlic bread, line an air fryer with greaseproof paper and place the garlic bread inside. Cook following manufacturer's instructions at 180C for 2–3 minutes to defrost slightly. If you do not have an air fryer – preheat your oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4 and prep the garlic bread on a lined baking tray. Cook for an initial 5 minutes.
Remove the garlic bread and separate the cuts to allow space for your additions.
To fill, open each cut up and stuff cheese into the gap along with 1 or 2 jalapeño slices.
Place the bread carefully back into the air fryer and cook at 180C for a further 6–8 minutes, or for 10–12 minutes in the oven.
Remove and serve with a sprinkling of finely chopped spring onions.
To make the brie, bacon and chutney garlic bread, line the air fryer with foil and place 4 rashers of bacon on top. Cook at 200C for 6 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove the bacon and set aside. Alternatively, you can fry the bacon in a hot pan.
Line the air fryer with greaseproof paper and place the garlic bread inside. Cook at 180C for 2–3 minutes to defrost slightly, remove and separate the cuts to allow space for your additions. If you do not have an air fryer, follow the instructions for using the oven in the jalapeño and cheddar garlic bread above.
Chop the crispy bacon into small pieces.
Using a spoon or a butter knife, spread a little of the chutney in between each cut in the garlic bread and sprinkle half of the bacon bits in the base of each. Put a slice of brie inside each cut and finish with the rest of the bacon.
Cook at 180C in the air fryer for a further 8–10 minutes, or 10–12 minutes in the oven.
Remove and finish with finely chopped chives.
To make the pizza-style garlic bread, follow the first instruction for the jalapeño and cheddar garlic bread.
Using a spoon, spread the passata in between each cut in the garlic bread.  Place a slice of salami, mozzarella, and tomato between each slice of bread.
Sprinkle the whole thing with Italian herbs and return to the air fryer for 8–10 minutes, or for the oven for 10–12 minutes.
Remove and serve, if liked, with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
Recipe Tips
If the baguette doesn't fit in the air fryer, try cutting it in half.
