It's the last of the semi-finals and the six remaining celebrity cooks continue to battle for the MasterChef title.

The celebrities' initial challenge is a MasterChef first - a relay invention test. Split into two teams of three, both teams must create one dish between them using a chicken and a range of vegetables, herbs and spices. Each team member has 20 minutes to make their contribution to the dish without communicating with one another - so each cook must attempt to decipher what the dish is meant to be from the clues left behind by their teammate, and then carry on. Both teams must play carefully to their strengths. With the first team member being responsible for designing and starting to cook the dish, the second celebrity doing the main body of the dish and the third finishing and presenting it, will the celebrities be able to create something successful?

Next the celebrities have to showcase their own style and flair with pastry. They must each create one savoury and two sweet items for afternoon tea at the Bingham Hotel in Richmond upon Thames. Each celebrity contestant must deliver beautiful looking and tasting treats for the local members of the fearsome WI, who aren't afraid to say exactly what they think.

Finally it's back to the MasterChef kitchen to create one exceptional dish inspired by someone close to them. The celebrities must impress John and Gregg by showing that they can put passion into their dishes and have the heart and determination to remain in the competition. The greatest cooks in the world are able to show emotion through their food. Will our final six be able to do the same?

For the two cooks who don't make the grade, their competition will be over.
