Celebrity MasterChef challenges 16 familiar hopefuls to battle for the title of Celebrity MasterChef Champion.

Contestants Jamie Theakston, Anne Charleston, Javine Hylton and Steve Parry are paired into teams and face the public for the first time.

Mass catering is on the menu and the four are assigned a mammoth challenge at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. With an array of ingredients including beef, chicken, rice, pasta, fruits and vegetables, the teams must devise, prepare and serve 110 lunch portions, catering for various tastes while creating meat-based, vegetarian and dessert dishes.

In the heat of the kitchen, and with a school of hungry students descending upon them, the celebrities need to rely on their teamwork skills more than ever.
