Flaxseed recipes
Flaxseed, also known as linseed, are small seeds that can be eaten whole, ground up, or made into an oil. They are a good source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular omega-3 fatty acids. They add texture to breads, can be thrown into a smoothie and have particular benefits for vegan baking, as ground flaxseed can be combined with water and used as an egg replacement.
