Yazi Bagh Ali
Yazi Bagh Ali was born in Skipton, Yorkshire. Her father, like many Asian immigrants in the 1950s came to Yorkshire from Azad Kashmir in Pakistan to work in the area’s textile mills. Yazi is passionate about Kashmiri food and runs a business called Amaali selling Kashmiri spice blends and sharing authentic recipes. She regularly runs workshops on Kashmiri food in primary schools to teach children about traditional culture and to encourage integration among communities.
