Mark and Jackie agree Pat is the best cook in the family, but before Pat married she couldn’t even boil an egg. Her love of cooking grew over years of practice and she developed enthusiasm for entertaining and the presentation of food. Mark’s passion for cooking only started a few years ago; he enjoys going to the fishmonger’s, butcher’s and greengrocer’s at the weekends to buy ingredients to cook.

Jackie has been inspired by her mother’s cooking and using lots of fresh ingredients.

The Kings often cook seafood dishes and rarely cook with meat, but they all love a venison steak. Their food is modern British where the presentation is king!
