Izy Hossack

With a BSc degree in Food Science & Nutrition at the University of Leeds, Izy has been experimenting with food for years and her recipes range from the indulgent to the wholesome and hearty.

Izy grew up eating pretty much everything under the sun but, just before university, decided to drastically reduce her intake of meat for environmental reasons. She still follows a ‘flexitarian’ diet and also writes lots of ‘veganised’ versions of recipes.

In 2014, she published her first cookbook, Top With Cinnamon, which was followed by, The Savvy Cook, in 2017.
